When I founded Graham Landi Wellbeing I realised that my interest in people and the things they do has been a constant in my life. Having spent the best part of a quarter of a century in the corporate world I feared that my soul would die if I didn’t make a change.
After a rather disappointingly cliched difficult time in early mid-life I started to re-evaluate everything. I retrained in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Hypnotherapy and left corporate life to go it alone. I never looked back.
All of our experiences are unique however similar they look, so I can never know exactly how you feel. But I have a lot of first hand experience of both digging myself into holes and then finding my way back out of them. I have known loss, pain, change, joy, success and failure at one time or another and I try and use all of them to help you find the answers to the question “what next?” Often, just getting to the stage where that’s a question you are ready to ask is a powerful change.
I will offer you a different perspective on all manner of emotional challenges in a weekly blog which is intended to give you food for thought and pragmatic advice on making sustainable change.
As an enthusiastic cook and baker, when I have some time, I post on another site I created with my alter ego “The Kitchen Therapist” where I attempt to combine an enthusiasm for food with its many and varied benefits to a balanced and healthy mind. You’ll find more help there.
I always like to hear from you and if you’d like to join the Graham Landi Wellbeing mailing list you’ll be kept up to date with all of my writing where I think you’ll find a variety of thoughts and techniques which will help you to navigate through what are often the treacherous waters of life.
Finally, we're developing a range of online programmes which you'll be able to access wherever you are. They will be focused on popular challenges we face in our lives and ways in which you can begin to overcome them.
How Can You Be Sure I Know What I’m Doing?
If you’ve made it this far, here’s some other important information.
Graham Landi Wellbeing offers professional Counselling, Hypnotherapy and Coaching services from locations in Kent and via Skype.
I am a Professional accredited member of The National Counselling Society and The National Hypnotherapy Society, The General Hypnotherapy Register and the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) recognised by the NHS as the mark of a professional and competent practitioner and the body from which the NHS select their Hypnotherapy services.
My counselling training was integrative meaning that I have extensive knowledge of a wide range of different approaches. This is important because no two people are the same and so having a range of tools to choose from is helpful in facilitating effective and sustainable change.
I have completed separate study in the areas of Coaching and in Relationship therapy which have given me a breadth of knowledge enabling me to work with a wider variety of clients.
I've also worked extensively with addiction, helping people to understand their route into dependency in an effort to help them better work out how to change in a sustainable way.
Listing my professional credentials is all very well, but when you decide to look for support to make positive change in your life it’s more important than anything to find someone you feel you can work with and that you can build a connection with. I might be right for you and I might not, but I am always happy to explore the ways in which we may be able to work together. I am a strong believer in continued personal and professional development, and I constantly take opportunities to develop my own skills and expertise in order to offer you the best possible support.
If you think I could help in any way just drop me a note and feel free to ask me anything you need to know.
